  1. Community Outreach on Executive Director Search

    As you may have heard, we are preparing to conduct a search for the new Port of Olympia Executive Director. A recruitment announcement is currently being developed and input is being sought from the community.

    Your comments and recommendations are important to us and of valuable assistance in selecting the best person possible to lead the Port.     The Port of Olympia is launching a community-wide public engagement process to help identify community priorities for the future. The Port of Olympia Vision 2050 project will provide direct engagement and input opportunities for citizens through a combination of interviews, surveys and community group presentations. The goals of this initiative are to better-engage citizens in Port planning, develop stronger community partnerships and establish a shared vision for Port activities and investment over the long-term. To learn more visit www.portolympia2050.org.
